About Me
Hello there! I'm Nina Stanyer, the proud founder of NS Coaching. I'm a dedicated mother of two. I'm passionate about advocating for survivors of domestic abuse and trauma. I also help people facing confidence and self-esteem issues.
As a mindset coach, my mission is clear: to be the supportive champion I wish I had when I needed it most. I'm here to guide you on your journey of change. I'll help you become the person you were meant to be, happy and fulfilled.
My Background

Writing About Myself
It’s hard to write about yourself—especially when, for most of your life, you felt invisible, worthless, and too scared to speak up.
But for you, I’ll try.

Who I Am
I am a mother of two beautiful grown boys and a survivor of both childhood sexual abuse and long-term domestic abuse.

My Early Working Life
Most of my working life was spent in retail and administration roles, supporting my little family as a single mum. In my spare time, I studied to become "qualified enough" to work in domestic abuse support. Yet, none of the courses seemed to align with where my heart truly wanted to be.
Eventually, I became a Youth Worker. I spent years helping disengaged young people, which was deeply satisfying, but it still wasn’t enough.

Finding My Voice
A few years ago, I was one of ten people chosen by Broken to Brilliant, a domestic abuse support charity, to share my story in a collaborative book.
Speaking my truth—being seen and heard for the first time—changed my life. It reignited my passion to work in this space and make a difference for others who were battling with self-worth.

The Path to Coaching
A significant life change pushed me onto the path of becoming a personal development coach. From the moment I started, it felt like coming home. Finally, I could support my niche, using both my lived experience and my studies in self-esteem and confidence.

My Message to You
We didn’t go through what we went through for nothing. Just remember that.
Your time is now—and I’m so excited to be the one to champion you as you rediscover your unique and beautiful self.
Who I Help
In short - you.
If you're reading this, you're the one I aim to assist.
You can end fear, insecurity, and doubt. You've sacrificed for others in an unhealthy way, felt sad, and hid your true self.

How I make a Difference
As a self-esteem coach, I have created and tailored a specialist confidence building program intended just for you. Working with the Self-Esteem Traid my sessions are designed to gently pull apart your old limiting beliefs and allow your beautiful core self to rise up and take back the life that is rightfully yours.
Maybe you're asking - Do I need a life coach? Well I'm here waiting for you.
What's in It for You
In essence, what's missing for you?
This program revolves around you. It empowers you to rebuild your confidence and reclaim your true self.
The only thing you stand to lose is the unwanted shell of your past life.
I know that having faith and trusting isn't easy. But, sometimes, taking that chance is worth it.
Your Life. Your Terms.
Broken to Brilliant
In an uncanny turn of events, and completely out of the blue, I tentatively put my hand up to be considered to share my post domestic violence experiences as a chapter in a book that was to be published by Broken to Brilliant – a charity created by survivors of domestic abuse who support the long-term recovery of survivors like myself.
My journey with the Broken to Brilliant team has, put simply, woken a sleeping giant. The journey opened doors in my heart and mind that I don’t remember shutting, and once opened have redefined how I view myself and my world.
My sense of self-worth has been peppered with feelings of guilt, self-loathing, uselessness and belief that I am not worthy. My involvement with Broken to Brilliant, and the domestic violence support from them, has made me realise that none of these labels really pertain to me and that every single one of them has been hung on me by others – people I trusted to care for me. People I believed knew me better than I knew myself.
It has not been easy to redefine how I look at myself, building confidence, and indeed it is something that I work on on a daily basis as a self-esteem and personal development coach.
The Broken to Brilliant team have given me direction and a passion to support others with their journey back from domestic abuse to their authentic self. Stepping out from behind the shadows of a victim, becoming survivor, I feel driven to be a voice for those who have been silenced and for those who, like me in the past, are too fearful to speak.
Too many men, women and children have suffered, died and been damaged by this epidemic of socially awkward violence.
Wherever I can make a difference, I will.
These powerful books make such a difference, not only as a line of support to people battling with their own experiences with domestic abuse, but also to help family and loved ones to have a better understanding around the webs that are weaved and the power that is wielded inside.
Brave. Brilliant. Resilient.
